Online Examination for WiMAX Forum RF Network Engineer Certification Instructions and Policies

Online testing takes place at http://doceotech.breezecentral.com  We will set up an account for you, and notify you by email of the account details.  Your exam period will open on a Sunday of your choice (8:00a.m. US Pacific Time), and close on the following Sunday (8:00a.m. US Pacific Time), based on your response to an email invitation to select your test period.  You may elect to take the exam at any time within that seven-day interval.

There are two parts to the online examination.  The Knowledge Exam has forty multiple-choice questions.  The Practical Exam requires you to download two case studies and some spreadsheet tools, complete the case studies offline, and return to the online account to enter the answers to the case-study questions.  The spreadsheet tools are two of the same tools you received in class on the student CD.  You will be scored and notified of your status a few days after the closing of your testing interval.

This is an open-book exam.  It is not timed.  We require that each portion of the testing tool be completed in one or two sittings.  The online testing tool will allow you to open each exam and close it again as many times as you like, so if you have an interruption or a network problem, you can simply stop the exam and return later. However, for a valid testing process, we will check how many times you opened each exam.  If you opened any portion of the test more than two times, we will invalidate your score. 

Note that with two parts of the exam, you may spread your testing throughout the week at your convenience.  For example, you may open and complete the Knowledge Exam on Monday, and open and complete the Practical Exam on Saturday.

You may move backward and forward through the exam. However, when you select an answer and click the “Submit” button, your answer will be recorded and may not be changed.  Use the “Skip For Now” button if you wish to answer questions at a later time.

Your score will be calculated when you click the “Finish Exam” button on the last slide.  If you are not certified on your first attempt, you may re-take an exam at a later time.

As part of the exam, you must agree not to record the questions or answers to any of the questions you see.
